A first-century tomb in Giv'at Hamivtar, Jerusalem, bears a very rare Paleo Hebrew inscription of a Babylonian Jew who's body was sent to Jerusalem.
The inscription reads: “I am Abba, son of the priest Eleazar, son of Aaron the Great. I am Abba, the oppressed, the persecuted, who was born in Jerusalem and went to exile into Babylonia…”
